Yes. Every portrait is previewed free, with a MADELUME watermark, before any payment is taken.

You can try again or try another style within your free preview allowance before paying. Digital artwork is personalised and produced on demand, so once the high-resolution file has been delivered it cannot normally be returned — but if something has gone wrong, contact us and we'll put it right.

Usually a couple of minutes. You'll see live progress while your artwork is created, and we never show fabricated progress.

After payment is confirmed we produce the high-resolution artwork without the preview watermark, store it privately, and give your account a secure, time-limited download link.

Yes. The digital file is supplied at a resolution suitable for personal printing at home or through a print shop.

It is stored in private, access-controlled storage and deleted on the retention schedule set in our photo policy. We do not use customer images to train AI models.

Yes — create a separate portrait for each pet. Multi-pet compositions in a single piece aren't available yet.
